Värnamo Flygklubb is a flying club founded in the late 1950s and based at Hagshult air base, about 15 minutes by road from Värnamo in Småland, where it operates alongside the Swedish Armed Forces. The club runs its own ATO-approved flight school with three instructors and starts a new course each autumn. It trains for the LAPL and PPL and also offers the night rating, the competency-based instrument rating and flight instructor training, as well as proficiency checks. Theory lessons are usually held on Sundays and are combined with practical flying. The club owns a Cessna 172 and a Diamond DA40.
