About this listing

The School of Aviation (Trafikflyghögskolan, TFHS) is part of Lund University's Faculty of Engineering (LTH) and is based at Ljungbyhed airfield in Skåne. Its airline pilot programme is a full-time higher vocational education (YH) course, with selection based on aptitude tests and interviews, and no previous flying experience is required. The current programme leads to a Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL), with supervised line training as a first officer at a partner airline; the school's approval also covers integrated ATPL training. Basic flight training uses a fleet of eight Cirrus SR20s, with a Zlin Z 242 for upset recovery training. The school also trains Swedish Air Force pilots on commission.

Approval number supplied by the school: SE.ATO.0017. FlyAeroplane has not confirmed it with the authority.
