Ljungbyheds Flygklubb has been active since 1957 at Ljungbyhed airfield at the foot of Söderåsen in Skåne, which the club describes as the world's oldest airfield still in use. The club covers power flying, gliding and ultralight flying, and its instructors train for the PPL, LAPL, UL and SPL. Its declared training organisation covers LAPL(A) and PPL(A) flight training, theory including distance learning, the night rating and the aerobatic rating. Members can go on to further training such as instrument, cross-country and formation flying, and trial lessons are offered on all of the club's aircraft types.
