About this listing
Gotlands Flygklubb was founded in 1939 and has been active at Visby Airport ever since. A combined power and gliding club with around 100 members, it trains pilots for the PPL(A) and LAPL(A) and the night rating. Theory is studied mainly by distance learning in cooperation with Flygcert, and flight training is flown mostly on Gotland in the club's three IFR-equipped SOCATA TB 10 Tobagos, with training normally taking about a year. Students must be club members. The club also operates two motor gliders and works closely with the Swedish Voluntary Flying Corps (Frivilliga Flygkåren).
Approval number supplied by the school: SE.DTO.0038. FlyAeroplane has not confirmed it with the authority.
